I'm writing to apply
for the recently advertised delivery person position with Burns
Delivery. I have been driving for six years and have a spotless
record, as well as my own, reliable vehicle.
I am attending night
classes in engineering at Home Town Community College as I work
my way through school and can readily commit to a full and
regular schedule. My record as an Honors student in high school
and college, while working and participating in sports, shows
that I am able to meet and exceed expectations and fulfill all
my responsibilities.
I was a State finalist
in Track and Field in high school, and my field hockey team also
made it to the State finals, which shows that I work well
independently and as a team player.
As a lifelong resident
of Home Town, and regular volunteer in Earth Day clean-ups, I
know this community like the back of my hand, which will make me
a particularly efficient delivery driver.
I am very good at
multi-tasking and love working in a fast-paced environment.
