Star Hospital.
After several
years of working in the field, and receiving additional
training, my commitment to Nursing is as strong as it
was when I got my first "Nursing Kit" as a little girl.
I appreciate the opportunity to make a real difference
in patients' day-to-day lives and I find the profession
endlessly interesting and rewarding.
I received my
BSN degree in Nursing from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign in 1999 and worked at the Sacred Heart
Hospital in Urbana for four years, consistently
receiving outstanding evaluations.
In 2005, I
became a CCRN, receiving my Certification in Critical
Care Nursing, so I will be prepared to assist in your
rapidly expanding Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
I have also
served on patient education and procedural committees
and enjoy taking an active role in organizational
development. I thrive on multi-tasking and take great
pride in establishing respectful and supportive
relationships with colleagues, patients and patients'
families.
