There is this one app that has been out there for many years, but that too many people still don’t know about. It’s called “Microsoft Lens” and is meant to help you take pictures in .pdf format. This is ideal when you want to take a picture of a document and send it to someone. Instead of taking a picture of the document like if it was a photo, the app will locate the contours of the document, flatten the image, and convert the image in .pdf format for easy printing. This app is simple to use and is ideal for those who do not have a scanner at home, or are at a client meeting and need to scan a document on the go.
I’ve encountered too many people who still take “pictures” of documents the old way. If you happen to read this blog post and didn’t know about this app, I recommended that you try it out.
