The cover letter example below is that of an international financial analyst. The applicant starts by stating that the strength of a company is dependent on its employees. He then connects that proposition with his own application by directing attention to his track record. Many job seekers have difficulty in starting a cover letter. This is a good example of how you can be creative. A cover letter doesn't have to be boring. In fact, it should be anything but boring. Would you want to work with someone boring or someone fun? Another interesting feature of this cover letter is that the applicant mentioned one major project that he worked on. That was a good idea, especially if everybody in the industry knows about the deal. People are always curious about these things, even more so when they are from the outside. Mentioning some major projects can open the door to an interview if not only for the curiosity of the interviewer. Once face to face, you'll have the chance to prove yourself.
