Kimberly-Clark is launching a new recruitment campaign to attract talent to its organization, or as it likes to call them, “Original Thinkers.” For those who haven’t heard of Kimberly-Clark, it is the multinational behind many household names, such as Cottonelle, Kleenex, Depend, Huggies and Kotex, to name just a few. Some interesting facts about Kimberly-Clark:
- It’s been in business for over 144 years.
- It had $18.6 billion in sales in 2015.
- It has 43,000 employees working in 37 countries.
- Its products are sold in more than 175 countries.
As part of its recruitment campaign, instead of just listing the jobs it has available, Kimberly-Clark put together a short quiz that shows what personality type you fall under: the dreamer, the analyzer, the disrupter, the muse, the adapter, the nonconformist, the maker or the inventor. The quiz ends with an invitation to look for opportunities at Kimberly-Clark that fit your personality type. Quite an interesting way to look at things.
Beyond this light-hearted initiative, we can gather from this campaign that Kimberly-Clark takes employee recruitment very seriously, as it should be.
