Every occupation or field has a trade organization or networking group. Many have several. These provide growth opportunities. You are provided the opportunity to develop relationships, learn about other companies, discover job opportunities, and learn new developments in the field.
If you are not a part of your trade organization or networking group, you should be. With the pressures of the economy, these are the first expenses that we have cut. Don't give up on it so soon. These organizations are developed to aid you in your career path, and unless you want to be stagnant, it is highly recommended that you stay involved and attached.
